Yep, and some apparently might be surprised to hear, we're actually one of the cleaner teams in the league as well.

League average for PIM was 709, Jets had 697. League average for Major penalties was 19, Jets only had 9 all season. Morrissey does one bad thing (that wasn't even intentional) and suddenly there's a narrative that we're a dirty team

Playoff time so some posters passion levels are high and then we have our normal posters (who will remain unnamed) who follow all Jets related threads who love to post their own “narrative”. In the end the facts speak for themselves, we are not the Jets from three years ago.....we are now a fast & big and very skilled group. When Chariot & Lowry are the toughest guys on your team you are NOT a goon team. Haha

Jets also don't have 4-th line scrubs that go after top players of other team. If Wild has no goons how smart was Boudreau's idea to goon it up in the end of second game ?
Asking for a friend

There isn’t anybody with two brain cells to rub together that thinks the Jet’s injuries are more impactful than the Wild’s injury situation. Don’t be ridiculous.

The injury problems are at similar levels, the difference is that the Jets have more depth so it isn't as impactful to the team they ice.

Both teams are dealing with injury problems so saying that the Wild are losing because of injuries is true in a way but you can't build a PO team without depth.

Jets are missing:
4 of their top 6 D
Their best defensive center
A offensive wimger that put up similar numbers to Parise this year.

If the Wild were in this situation do you think they would.be in better shape than they are now?

Please don’t get me wrong. The Jets are winning because they are the better team regardless of injuries. I do think the games and the series would be more interesting if teams were healthy.

That said, You can’t compare position by position because the teams are built with different strengths.

the Wild did all they could to stay in this one, just can't match up to the depth the Jets have...

Jets depth at D will be truly tested next game. Unless Myers comes back into the game the Jets will be without 4 of their top 6 D. On the left side they will be without their top 3 D no matter if Myers plays or not.

They are looking at missing 4 top4 D-men from the next game, Trouba returned from multiple injuries to this series. Perreault has been injured as well.

Yet the story line is but Minnesota has injury problems.

Like it or not, when it comes to media narratives if a team's best player is injured immediately before a series, that's going to tend to trump everything else. I don't think many believe that the Wild would be the favorite here even if both teams were fully healthy.
