Canada can't underestimate the Danes, I think it was 5 years ago now that on opening day Denmark won 4-3 over Canada. With that said I expect Canada to win so i say 5-2. Bergeron 2, Calder, Carter, Crosby.

I predict a 3-1 victory for Canada. The Danes are a tough team for Canada, and will try to resist as long as possible IMO.

Not quite. We managed a 2-2 tie in the 2003 tourney. Bouwmeester had two goals for Canada.

That being said, I think Canada will manage a blowout today.

2-0 Canada. The combination of Canada's inexperience at the senior level, on international ice and as a team, plus Denmark's playing their best game of the tournament, will keep this game close.

Remember, Canada needed two third period goals to tie Austria 2-2 in the opening game of the 2004 Worlds, and we all remember how that tournament ended. Canada always starts slow at the WChamps.

I think it will be a difficult 2-1 win for Canada.
1st game is always very difficult.

We usually manage good initial games in these tourneys, much better prepared than the "big" opponents. That could even the gap a bit, but it just HAS to be a Canada win, still.
