I've done it too
But I'm not unwilling to pay a reasonable rate.

So basically, it gives you some version of your local cable.
Near Ann Arbor I get:
2,4,7,20,50,62
ESPN 1&2&News&U
FS1, FS2, FSD, FSD+
NBCSN
BTN,
CBSSportsN
Tennis
Some disney bullshit
News channels
FX channels
AMC and other stuff

So tomorrow I play hockey at 9.
Youtube TV lets me add the Sens vs Wings game "to my library." Which means Youtube records it. I can come home and watch it. Presumably I can fast forward through the commercials and intermissions.
I like it.
I wish they had CBC, but they have FS, FS+ and NBCSports, so the Wings are covered.

They should have an app on Roku and other devices soon.
Read the PS4 won't allow Youtube TV because it competes somehow with their Vue app.
