Can't help but be reminded of Curtis Gedig whenever I see Viktor's name. BTW, Geddig (7/204 in the 2009 draft) is currently playing in Germany's 2nd tier league.

I technically would still put Walsh ahead until Hurtig starts playing full-time in a pro-league. I emotionally would sob into my pillow.i wonder, if he already is the devils top rhd prospect.
walsh looks like a pp specialist, who needs defensive sheltering. so basically he projects to have bottom pairing upside.
mccarthy is stay home defender with little offense. so basically he projects to have bottom pairing upside.
is there a case for hurtig to become a mid pairing d?
Just saw he’s committed to Michigan state. He’s an intriguing prospect with his size. We’ll see
not a fan of this move? shockingHe would be better off in Sweden.
Well for starters do you think those Kotbuller at IKEA are going to cut it for him? Why?
History. Name me a Swedish player who went to OHL or college and became a great player to those who developed at home, playing professional hockey. Why?
I know negativity is kind of your thing but he was a 6th round pick. Odds of him becoming a "great player" aren't exactly in his favor regardless of where he's playing.History. I mean, yeah it's great that last decade was a shit show, very positive.I know negativity is kind of your thing but he was a 6th round pick. Odds of him becoming a "great player" aren't exactly in his favor regardless of where he's playing.

Than he's a waste of space here. This is an asinine comparison, Swedish players don't typically play college hockey, and yes, the ones that do are on balance worse than players who don't. Hurtig is unlikely to be great not because he is choosing to play college hockey but because of his results to date, he hasn't shown that he has NHL potential.
That’s basically all late round picks so it’s weird you seem so vehement about Hurtig.Than he's a waste of space here.
What are you even railing about?Than he's a waste of space here.
Saying that he's not NHL material and most important is to get education - why are we then having discussion about him? To monitor his college grades? What are you even railing about?
Why is there discussion about the new hockey team this prospect will be playing with in a thread about this prospect in a hockey forum? Is that your question?Saying that he's not NHL material and most important is to get education - why are we then having discussion about him? To monitor his college grades?
Hockey? I thought we were talking about the food at IKEA.Why is there discussion about the new hockey team this prospect will be playing with in a thread about this prospect in a hockey forum? Is that your question?

Is he related to the soccer player Lina Hurtig? Her successful PK eliminated the USA.
They are both listed from Avesta.
