Rocket League is just a way better version of Lucio Ball with actual depth of gameplay.
Yeah, I know. Rocket League is one of those games that I couldn't force myself to get into when it first started getting HUGE--and now it seems like the community has gotten so good that there's no point in trying to pick it up (unless I enjoy getting my butt kicked over and over again). Buuut I might *finally* pick it up now that Overwatch's Summer Games event is over.

LucioBall is basically just a very simple distraction/diversion from the time I usually spend rage-quitting out of team selection screens because we're supposed to be setting up an attack on an escort map and my teammates have chosen Hanzo, Widow, Symmetra, Mei, and Torb. Who needs tanks or healers, amirite?

Just play competitive, the better you are the less of that stuff there will be.

Although I admit, I've played the game so much now I just go for the funnest choice, without being to selfish. I mean Mei can be useful on offense.

Sadly, only if you have a big (preferably full) stack of friends with you. Too many trolls, throwers, ego and emo guys. A year ago it was different.

I guess the strategy at the higher levels is, what...to double-up on goaltenders and spend the entire match booping looper shots back and forth between goalies, with one offensive guy looking to deflect an airborne shot or pop in a rebound?

It's 1 goalie always. Field guys should block the initial faceoff and help when opponent ults. Then they go to the opponent's half of the field.

The effective way is to pass precisely to one of your attackers being around yellow spot (right or left), you can pass low or high but the ball should fall to the ground to make the shot possible.

Two pass plays are good but you have to have 3 players in party, the chemistry is required :D

PS: Copa Lucio is still there, and will be for some time I guess.

Divinity 2 is as good as the first. Wish there were more games like this for couch co-op

While I hold no hope for Assassin's Creed Origins, I am still hopeful that Wolfenstein will be at least as good as the last two.

Wolfenstein’s advertising on social media has been spot-on.
I've definitely been enjoying it. But it's also like, remember when Nazis (alongside Zombies and Demons From Hell) were considered the SAFEST choice for video-game antagonists? Like, seriously, your mom could be like, "I don't like that violent video game you're playing," and you could be like, "But MOOOM, the bad guys are Nazis. I'm shooting Nazis!!!" and your mom would be like, "Oh, that's nice. Carry on, then!"

I don't have the $$$ right now to buy the new one, but I did recently re-install the first reboot that came out a few years ago and it's still pretty great.

Yea, I'm probably going to break down and buy Wolfenstein. I think I can hold out on Assassin's Creed Origins. At least until all the bugs come out and it's a half done game.

Yeah I'll be doing the same. Also holding out on Star Wars Battlefront 2 until I've seen "The Last Jedi". I'm pretty certain there will a number of TLJ spoilers in that game.

I'll be waiting a helluva lot longer than that. Sorry, but EA is just as bad as Ubisoft at this point.

SW:BF2 takes anti-consumer, pay-to-win microtransactions to the next level. It's a disgrace, IMO. I'll be avoiding it (not that "protesting with your wallet" actually has any power whatsoever).

Definitely seems to be a pretty fine line when it comes to microtransactions...and when it goes over on the bad side it is loathsome.

Ill still be playing BF2 purely for the campaign mode with a bit of starfighters mixed in (although I'll be pissed because of how much the card system impacts it).

The Steam Halloween sale got me.

Tooth and Nail (George Orwell's Animal Farm meets stripped-down RTS)
Tacoma (Space-based walking simulator from the makers of Gone Home)
What Remains of Edith Finch (Another narrative-driven walking simulator--I'm really into this genre lately)
Hollow Knight (the cheapest it's been since release)

I just started a Be a pro mode with NHL15 on my PS3.

I'm a C

After the Memorial Cup (lost in the final) with 18 points (14+4) in 4 games, I'm selected 1st overall in the 2014 NHL draft by ... Pittsburgh Penguins. Really?? 1st overall pick for Pit?? Even this game is rigged.

After 29 points (8+21) in 7 games in preseason (I play on the hardest level, but this game have no secrets for me :naughty:)

I have Crosby on my left wing and Hornqvist on my right wing.:laugh: 2 players that I hate.
Crosby 96-Me73-Hornqvist 85(IIRC)
Malkin as 2C
To beat Gretzky's record, it's a matter of time.
