Chicago Blackhawks rookie defenseman Klas Dahlbeck received his first NHL call-up on 12/4, and just 3 games into his NHL career, the Katrineholm, Sweden native netted his first NHL goal in a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins.

Midway through the first period, Blackhawks’ forwards Marcus Kruger and Ben Smith battled for the puck behind the Bruins’ net. Smith came away with the puck and fed a pass to Dahlbeck, who had moved in from his point position, with Dahlbeck firing home a shot past Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask.… read more
