They knew this was coming eventually as they got healthy. He has a good chance to be a serviceable NHL dman, but it’s probably not in Vegas. Nobody should be surprised if he’s claimed, but he’s more of the coin-flip variety.

It is interesting they sent him through waivers, rather than sending Korczak down. Should tell you what they think of Korczak.

Korczak is quietly a super-underrated young blueliner. 25 GP, 9 Pts, +11 as a rookie. Versatile second pairing blueliner in the making. Also definitely want to see more of Miromanov at the NHL level. Hes always been a wild card talent for me. If he’s healthy, you gotta give him some more run outs.

I think Pachal is definitely going to be claimed. Big, cheap young RHD who is pretty vanilla but could probably slot fairly easily in the third pairing of quite a few teams. Agreed his has limited upside.

Will never be more than a 6 at best. Okay skater. Phyiscal enough. No offensive game to speak of which is why he hit waivers rather than Miromanov.

I would make a claim if I were a GM. Good size. A tweener on Vegas might be a good 6-7 on many other teams.

Calgary may place a claim on Pachal since they’ve lost DeSimone to New Jersey via waivers.

Anaheim and San Jose are also bottom feeder possibilities for a claim as well.
