Pirri is a one dimensional player. Great shot on the PP, but does little else.

Hope it works out here for him, he's running out of chances at the NHL level.

He was immediately waived after being signed, so I'm not sure how much time he's going to get at the NHL level. It never hurts to have depth, but I doubt he comes up to Vegas barring injuries - or maybe he could play for the Knights after the roster is shaken up at the trade deadline.

Pulkinnen and Pirri are exact clones. Not sure what the point of this was, unless Chicago wanted him.

interesting he took a 2 way deal to prove himself

He's already been waived. Pirri can replace Duke on the Wolves' top line. This is what I was hoping for this summer...there's a lot of pro contract spots available, why not use them?

Teams start getting real desperate 3 months into the season when they have trouble scoring. If Pulkkinen and/or Pirri are scoring in the AHL then someone may take a flyer on one.
