I think Moskau said that Ballard also turned pro,not who is still on there.Isn't Blake Wheeler going to Minnesota?

I had read in one of the MN papers that Wheeler was skipping his senior year of HS to play for Green Bay in the USHL.

Lets get something straight here. Wheeler is not "skipping" his senior year of high school, he just isn't playing high school hockey. If he skipped high school, he can't go to college.

Not a rip on you, but I've seen that notion posted here plenty of times, and I just wanted to make sure the facts were straightened out.

Now if there isn't an NHL season (if that is the case there is no AHL season right?), would Vanek go play in Europe, or will he go play for Brandon as an overager (and an import?). Apparently he was contemplating that last season, would he follow through with it now?

Seems like an odd time to turn pro to me.
