Sharks moved up pretty good for a player they didn't have in the fold for the big club, but it isn't like the pick has a ton of value.

It's just an upgrade on a pick that still won't likely pan out, and doing Perron a favor. He has a much better shot of moving up Vancouver's depth chart next year than SJ's.

This place is awesome. JB swaps a 6 for a 7th and gets a 23 year old who put up 47 pints in the AHL and is critisized for it? More likely than not this amounts to a nothing deal, but how can anyone say this is a bad deal? The hate here is crazy.
At that stage of the draft the 2 picks have equal chance of landing a player. Worth the game for VAN.

An interesting move here for sure. If the Sharks keep Pyatt he could be a decent veteran bottom 6 presence.

Not if your the sharks. We know the best times to draft so I am A-ok with this trade if we got the best guy possible

Usually teams that have unlocked the secret code of the draft like you claim can actually win something.
