Vancouver traded down their pick to get an AHL scorer, while having to give up Pyatt as a roster spot, as he doesn't fit our plans apparently.

Sharks moved up pretty good for a player they didn't have in the fold for the big club, but it isn't like the pick has a ton of value.

It's just an upgrade on a pick that still won't likely pan out, and doing Perron a favor. He has a much better shot of moving up Vancouver's depth chart next year than SJ's.
