also Lowry can you stop with the constant heat check 3's every game?

The problem is its not even a heat check, its just a plain chuck up 3

I hate it so much when he does that. As a PG in the NBA, you need to get the best shot for the team, and manage the way they get shots. Not come down and just chuck because you think you're an All-Star. So frustrating.

Lowry IS an All-Star, not a matter of thinking.

He was hitting those before, now he's not. They will start falling again. Normally he can hit a shot with just an inch of space.

He shoots them way too often.

Don't think that can be argued.

If he hits them or not, doesn't really matter, he's the point guard, he runs the offense, he needs to find better shots.

Game Day: Raptors vs. Kings

Matt Tierney - Raptors.com

Time: (6PM ET - SN1, FAN590)

Toronto (17-11) returns home tonight to host Sacramento (10-16) at Air Canada Centre. Both teams last played Friday night with the Raptors emerging victorious in Miami while the Kings fell to the Wolves in Minnesota.

WHO’S HOT?

DeMarcus Cousins – At 25 years of age, Cousins is approaching the prime of his career and he’s playing like it. The Sacramento big man is dominating opposing frontcourts this season, averaging 25 points and 11 rebounds per game. Cousins is a load down in the post and causes nightmares for defenders with his ability to put the ball on the floor and drive the lane like a guard.

DeMar DeRozan – DeRozan has pretty much owned this spot for the month of December. He was rewarded for his strong play by being named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. The All-Star guard kept it rolling Friday night, recording his second-straight game of 30+ points to help Toronto snap a mini two-game losing streak.

Sacramento Kings at Toronto Raptors: Sunday game preview

Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins could be a handful for Raptors centre Bismack Biyombo.

Kings at Raptors

AIR CANADA CENTRE

Tipoff: 6 p.m.

TV: Sportsnet One

Radio: Sportsnet FAN590

Probable starters

Sacramento: Rajon Rondo, Ben McLemore, Omri Casspi, Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins.

Toronto: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, James Johnson, Luis Scola, Bismack Biyombo.

Key matchup: DeMarcus Cousins vs. Bismack Biyombo.

The emotional and mercurial Cousins is one of the best centres in the league and has stretched out his shooting range to the three-point line this year, making him even more lethal. Biyombo is going to have a hard time chasing him around the court.

Need to know: The Kings are 10-16 on the season and a dreadful 2-8 on the road . . . Sacramento beat Toronto earlier this season . . . Ex-Raptor Rudy Gay is averaging more than 18 points a game and shoots 46 per cent from the field . . . Toronto coach Dwane Casey said a change to James Johnson from Terrence Ross in the starting lineup may not be permanent; Ross could be back in to guard Casspi . . . Rondo has had 10 or more assists in his last five games.

Up next: Tuesday vs. Dallas, 7:30 p.m.
