until the team actually wins something, I think both the players and especially the GM should keep their mouths shut. Listening to these guys talk **** when the organization has never won anything is embarrassing. Plus it's baaad karma.

I don't know about karma but Ujuri is just pandering to a bunch of fans which I don't understand.

but there is...see yesterday's lottery....besides, it reeks of no class.

How was that an example of Karma? Leaf fans have been through hell, did Karma save them yesterday? Hell no.

**** Class, everyone in the NBA hate the Raptors and their fans regardless of what they do. I'd rather have fun with it and stick with the us against the world mantra.

LOL, everyone in the NBA hates the Raptors and their fans ??, where do you get this from. We have won one playoff round in our existence.. the Raptors are neither hated or liked, they're just irrelevant until they do something.

NBA does hate the Raptors and sorry but its fact
The calls that go against us proves it

Right this idea the league has it in for a team is ridiculous. When 2 American teams play eachother and one team gets the benefit of the calls does that mean the referees hate that city? Saying the league is against Canada is small minded mentality.

Raptors' fans need to stop whining about officiating. It's a terrible excuse. The officiating is garbage league wide, not just for us.

yes it's the refs fault that DD/Ross/Lowry went 4 for like 50...Until this team wins something and actually come up big in the playoffs they'll be labelled the way they are. As much as Pierce is hated he's right, this team doesn't have IT! Once again the team looked intimated by it's own crowd and expectations, this is the only team I can remember in my life that actually gets spooked by it's own crowd. It happened last year too.

Also probably the only team that uses a guy that can't hit 3's as a "specialist" for that same reason. If I'm Casey I'm using Ross as a defensive specialist rather than trying to set him for open 3's so he can brick them all game.

This team won't win anything until we have a competent coach and we get rid of that jump shot mentality..

Getting smashed on the boards? Yah, we will just sit JV and continue on playing small ball.

Team is being effective driving to the net and playing in the paint? Can't have that, so they go all jump shot crazy.

Can't play a lick of defense? No problem! We can just keep one of our best defenders on the bench all game...

Highly ******** team.

Edit: didn't know rtarded was a swear word lmao.

Oh I agree with you completely.

The only piece I'd want to keep going forward is JV truth be told. Can't wait until Lou Williams is gone..

With that said, if Casey wasn't so clueless wed have a chance at winning a couple series (not to say this ones over or anything).

Raptors' Lou Williams wins NBA sixth man award

http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Basketball/NBA/Toronto/2015/04/20/22354436.html

TORONTO - Raptors guard Lou Williams has been been named the NBA's sixth man of the year.

Acquired in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks last summer, Williams averaged a career-high 15.5 points per game this season.

Williams is the first Raptor to win the sixth man award. He is just the third Raptors player to win any season-ending award and the first since Vince Carter was named rookie of the year in 1999.

You want Lou gone yet without him this team isn't where they are that's for sure. 6th man of the year award, he just killed it off the bench this year, definitely not the issue on this team. Ross and Casey are the ones that need to go. Ross can't hit a 3 when it really matters if his life depended on it. Brick after brick after brick. Quite frankly I was done with him long ago. For me it's a matter of when he's traded not if. You can't go into next season with this roster.

Good for Lou on winning the 6th man award, impressive for sure. I still don't like how he comes in and starts chucking the ball though.

If there is anything I know from Toronto fans, they hate their team if they aren't perfect every night. we could win 100-0 and not turnover the ball at all, and you would see comments like "yeah but this guy missed this shot, and should have drove and yada yada yada"
Whatever life as a Toronto sports fan, I fully expect this team to respond. If we put our nose to it, we can actually dominate the Wizards. Our D picked up and started making shots that we should be making in the first place and look we almost won. They seem to respond when they heavily get put down like right now.

Instead of me cursing this team and saying "I hate this team, wont win a championship with this roster", yes because game 1 means everything. Right? Yes I was emotional after game 1, but still rational thoughts are we will respond and no not saying we will win anything, Like I said we are a good team but work to be done to reach greatness level and Masai knows it and players know it as well

With all that being said, Casey is preventing this team from reaching their potential. Hey we need to play good D, so I will bench my best defender. It only makes sense. Than on top off that no signs of a defensive system, or a very horrible one. Sorry but this lack of D is 90% on Casey, I refuse to believe we have amnesia and forgot how to play good D.
One more thing, as much as I have been frustrated with Ross and with good reason, saying he is one of the bigger problems is flat out wrong. It's not like he is the only one who lets people run right past him, GV is pretty famous for that. Not sure why Casey keeps playing Ross when it's not working right now

I feel they respond and that's what I know from this team. Frustrating but very likable team when playing well

Well JJ better be in game 2 because I thought the whole rotations were downright awful. Casey is a terrible minutes distributor. On Ross, Ross is a good defender, but when I heard Devlin say this team is using Ross as a 3-point specialist I was like...wtf...I'm fine with Ross being a specialist but at least have him in the right situation. He should be a defensive specialist off the bench when Washington is going small, he shouldn't be used as a guy who you can rely on to hit 3's because he's shown time and time again he can't hit 3's on a regular basis. Man..I'm really trying to like Ross as a player but he hasn't shown me anything that makes me say yeah we should keep him. I say we move him in the summer for some upgrades. Also besides a few mishaps the D was pretty good for the most part, we just couldn't hit shots. DD/Lowry especially have to be a lot better.

Saying the Raptors won't win a championship with this roster is nothing less than common sense.

You need stars to win. The Raptors have like 1 star combined if you want to consider DeRozan and Lowry half a star each.

This team also has to start winning at home in the playoffs. So sick of them being intimidated, which they did again in game 1. Devlin said last year the team admitted they were intimidated by their own crowd! I've never heard that before. This team has to realize yes you have great fans and a loud building, start using that as an advantage.

No Toronto team has won a championship in 20 years, but you'll complain when other fans complain as if we're one of the greatest sport cities in North America. Shut it jabroni.

Still would be a step forward to win a round this year.

We all know they wont win it all this season, but we're a young team, get rid of ross and bring in a star and who knows.

plus that potential top 10 pick in the 2016 draft could be huge, and you might get lucky with UFA.

we have a good base, just need one more key piece. but winning one round would be great experience for the core and you could really say the raptors are taking a step forward!
