Jay Satur - Raptors.com

The Raptors aim for a second win in as many nights on their current Western Conference road trip when they visit the Nuggets in Denver tonight (9 PM ET, Sportsnet, Sportsnet 590 The FAN).

Projected Starting Lineups

Raptors: Kyle Lowry (G), Terrence Ross (F), James Johnson (F), Amir Johnson (F), Jonas Valanciunas (C)

Nuggets: Ty Lawson (G), Aaron Afflalo(G), Wilson Chandler (F), Kenneth Faried (F), Timofey Mozgov (C)

Injury/Roster Report

Raptors: Landry Fields - concussion (questionable), DeMar DeRozan - torn left adductor longus tendon (out)

Nuggets Darrell Arthur – left peroneals muscle strain (probable), Danilo Gallinari – right knee meniscal tear (out), Javale McGee - left lower leg strain (out), Randy Foye – right vastus lateralis strain (out)

NEED TO KNOW

One to watch is Denver forward Kenneth Faried, who put up a 26-point, 25-rebound gem against Minnesota on Friday. . . . The Nuggets are generally one of the best home-court teams in the league, thanks to the city’s altitude and thin air, and are 10-6 at the Pepsi Center this season. . . . Landry Fields will undergo another test Sunday as part of the NBA’s concussion protocol before it’s determined whether he can return to action.

Love is the most overated player in the game. People saying he was the best PF in the league should have looked at what Bosh did with the raps with arguably LESS support then love.

The team is a joke without a defensive inside presence, and Lebron is too busy running the point to do that. Runnnig your 4/5 with Thompson and Love? Might as well be handing buckets to other teams.

KLoves Defense is pathetic. It's funny how Bosh got absolutely shredded in his first season with the Heat and I don't hear much criticism of Love

Sure Love was playing like garbage Varajao is out and Kyrie was out but lets not forget LeBrick shot a paltry 5 for 19. He's getting them MCW numbers.

The whole team played like trash and it's nice to see the best player in the world get stomped by over 20 points on their homecourt by a terrible lottery team who just bought out one of their better players (I use the term better very loosely).

Rightly so, Love is an elite offensive player who is a total disaster defensively. He's a bad fit on a Cavs team who requires some defense because they have none.

Would have been an excellent fit on a team like the Bulls who have the defense from Noah and Butler to make up for his deficiencies.
