I updated the equipment store list to include where the locations are. This makes a big difference in terms of shipping time. Obviously a place in New York will ship to New York in a couple days whereas a place in Califorina can take a week to ship to New York. So I thought I'd put together this nice list for everyone. I used the sites from the original sticky plus I added a couple others I know. BTW, multi-location stores will be listed for each state they are in.

If anyone has any more more feel free to add, and I'll put them in the proper spot.

Please NOTE: I haven't bought stuff from all of these sites. The best we can do is assume they are all good and legitimate. If anyone orders from a site and has problems, please post so we can update the list to ensure others do not order from the site anymore.

If you're curious as to how long it will take for an order to ship to your house.
Go to the following link and put your zipcode. Obviously processing time will add to the amount of time it takes to ship, but you usually get a confirmation when shipping actually takes place.

Think hockeydeals is associated with Summit Sports...or SummitOnline.

Hockey2.com is in New York. Another Ohio shop is hockeystopohio.com. Totalhockey.net is in St Louis I wanna say...or Illinois. Think might be multiple locations. Add in eastwesthockey.com for Cali. Purehockey.com is in Massachusetts, but they're website is like barebones, but I hear great things from phone orders. Then there's a couple, like cheapjims.com (good for custom gloves) and hockey.philbricks.net where idk are located. I wanna say east coast and Michigan maybe?

is a division of SummitOnline, but I'll add it anyway. Not sure if there are any differences.

TotalHockey is in Missouri

inlinewarehouse is the same thing as icewarehouse, but I'll add it since it's a different division

Purehockey is actually in Mass, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire

cheapjims is in Western New York apparently

Philbrinks is in New Hampshire

Added in a few more sites

Decided to order it by NHL divisions for fun, I just threw NY as Atlantic because it would be too much of a pain to see what's in western & what's in eastern NY.

Totalhockey.net: Negative Feedback

Previously I had ordered from totalhockey.net and recieved my order pretty fast and it was correct, they seemed nice and polite. As of a couple weeks ago I had nothing bad to say about them... Well about two weeks ago, I ordered some one90 shin guards and a half shield from them because HG and HM were the only other places I could find them in my size and find the half shield I wanted. Well I called to confirm that they had it in stock, they did not. The guy I talked to told me that they had the one50 shin guard and that I could buy those. I told him I didn't want the one50s and he "explained" to me that they were basically the same but different color. I told him that they were not and a few certain features that I wanted were only on the one90 shins, he told me I was wrong. Basically, he just wanted to make a sale. He didn't care whether I got something that I wanted or not, whether I was happy or not AND outright called me a liar. I canceled my order and he sighed and said "if you want." I just hung up.

My main want from the shin pads(besides the tight fit and tapered lower portion) was the honeycomb type protection(more breathable) and the nike grip print liner. Both of which he told me was on the one50... This is false, I believe the honeycomb type padding is available only on the one70(only on the calf wrap) and one90 and the grip print liner is only on the one90. I recently went online and confirmed that I was correct, I just sent an email to totalhockey and I will update you as to what they say.

I just wanted to inform you about negative dealings with a popular online retail store so that someone that is less informed as I am doesn't get duped by this sales tactic.

Like if someone gives the place a good review, then +1 next to their name...a bad experience -1. Just like a small review so ppl know what they might expect. So it'd be like HockeyMonkey...+3, -1 (see comments below) or something like that. Don't wanna get too technical but it'd help if ppl come on and ask, anyone ever buy from Monkey? Just an idea....

Well I figured out why Hockey Giant essentially sticks it to you with their shipping charges....I ordered like 5 items and it comes in three seperate packages. Talk about inefficiency.

So that's what happened to EPcuk. I've been wondering why they went way downhill over the last few months. I think they should can all the Hockey Giant folks and replace them with the EPcuk folks.

Hockey Giant itself is a pretty good site. However, I loved epuck's site before. It had a great design, with reviews for every product and a lot of extras. Hockey Giant practically stripped it to nothing. Unless they change the site back to what it was I won't be shopping at Epuck anymore and probably not hockey giant either.

Fast foward... There was a good deal so I went ahead and gave them another shot... bad idea.
Apparently, they were getting a shipment of this particular skate from another store and "all that showed up was a 6 and a 13." This is the 3rd different story I've heard from them in less than 24 hours. Each time I was told to call back and the first time I was promised that they were "in the process of pulling the skate, you(I) should get an email within the hour." Sounds to me like a mix between bad customer service and/or bait and switch. Either way, if you want what you order, don't waste your time with total hockey.
