For those saying that we could be up for a bunch of let down games against weaker teams in our division...

I counter that with, this team is looking very determined to get home ice advantage in the playoffs. I can see them pushing themselves every night to throttle some teams and move up the standings. This team loves a challenge, and I bet they have a goal of finishing top 2.

Home ice would solve some problems. The schedule looks like there is a lot of points to be had but even if you give Boston and Tampa only one point each for games in hand they are 7 and 8 points ahead respectively. We have one more game against Boston and two against Tampa so we have more control over the Tampa situation. How we do in those games will pretty much decide the story I think.

Home ice against Tampa would make them look very beatable especially if we beat them two more times.

Also one point to note is that Florida, 17 points behind the Leafs have 5 games in hand, is on a roll (winners of 4 in a row). And they still play the Leafs 3 more times this season.

They're probably the only team in the Atlantic that has a chance at catching the Leafs (albeit it is small).

The odds of them actually catching us have to be under 5 percent

I'll say 101 points.. I see them struggling a little more with Matthews out and the lack of games over the next couple of weeks, before picking up their play in the last bit of the season.

Maybe they go 7-5-2 in the final 14, but win 3 out of their like last 4 or something.

I will be on the optimistic side and say we'll win 9 of the remaining games and end up with 105 points. Beating the 2003-2004 team by 1 point for most points in a regular season. I see lots of games Leafs should win.

I was definitely selling them short. 97 points with 7 games to go? They've been great.

Since I made that prediction they've gone 11-4-2. With Matthews being out 10 of those games? Just crazy.

I think we will win 5 out of the final 7 games for 107 points

We only sticky non-Leafs threads... totally bizarre. If people want to talk Jays let them dig for it. Never understood that.

Late to the game but I'll say 105.
