Unsigned 2003 draftees

It's probably already been asked and answered already, but will clubs still have to sign their 2003 CHL draftees by june 1rst (I think that's the date) or else loose their rights? Or does everything get put on hold because of the labour dispute?

It's been arranged that all unsigned 2003 draft picks will automatically become property of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Except for Matthew Hansen, his rights will go to San Jose.

you can't sign anyone till the lockout is over, all operations are frozen...

what happens to those players is up in the air and if the lockout goes beyond june 1st it will be an issue to deal with...there is another thread about a tsn.ca article which raises the question of guys like jeff carter taking the league to court to get UFA status but no one really knows what might happen.
