Haha.. oh man, this is good. He got busted for using Rogaine! (or something like that)

As for this specific case involving the Canadian-born NHL player, sources say he's currently waiting for a hearing with the SDRCC arbitrator. Sources suggest the player in question has been using a hair restoration drug for many years and it's not being used as a “masking agent†for steroid use, and that is precisely the issue the arbitrator must rule on.

All those who bashed Dick Pound, please stand up!

NHL's testing methods are joke by every normal anti-doping criteria (you can't be tested on gameday for example!!) and I hope Don Cherry addresses this issue again on Coaches Corner.

Right because the NHL is supposed to care if guys are using hair-restoration products or not... :shakehead

So if it was the 1/3 number Pound threw out there is factual why has there been so few positives from what I suspect to be well over a hundred(not sure exact number) NHL'ers tested from preliminary rosters?

many hairloss drugs use a steroid inhibitor which i suppose can be seen as a masker for steroids...

but when they got ohlund for some sort of eye medication i knew what a joke the testing was.

So now NHL players are not allowed to bet or use Rogaine? What's next? Breathing?

If Rogaine was allowed, everyone would take it to hide stereoids!

Sorry but EVERY player knew the rules and the banned medicines, if you were stupid enough to continue using Rogaine prior to olympics even when knowing that, you should get 2 year ban for gross stupidity.
