why wasnt i able to take him in the real AHL draft then. I remember i picked him and someone made me change my pick. :dunno:
Because the rules for that draft was that a player had to be presently on the roster of an AHL club for the 04/05 season. Tyutin wasn't.

The rules for each draft were laid out and followed. The commish has done a good job laying it all out, and we have all competed with the same parameters, no favourtism or exceptions.

It's been fair.

You're in so many draft leagues. ;)

I myself have to double check, getting burned because I assume a guy's been drafted only to realize after someone else picks him that it was in another league that he was taken!

Everyone from this draft must vote what GM should get a buy to the next round... You can not vote for your self. I vote for MaDdy!

Jtuzzi21 gets my vote as the best G.M. (other than myself) to get a bye.

Even though he has both Mario and Zhamnov centering lines! (talk about weak checking)

He nabbed Morrow, Draper, Lehtinen, Holik, Cooke, Redden, Ohlund, Brodeur, all guys on the Sharks wish list.

And the Moose, although not strong now, has a couple of my favourite prospects in Koivu and Ruutu.

As a G.M. he's built a decent team for right now and the long distance future. The transition period might be a bit rough though.

Im not sure who has Ruutu. Is it jtuzzi or Morrison??

I think there was a trade and i just checked the roster and he's present on each of their team.

As for the best GM...im torn between BuppY and leafs_fan. I love both these guys but i would say BuppY. He has a nice mixture of power forwards on his team. A nice mixture of speed, and gritt. Plus, he has good prospects with Vanek, Staal, Ovechkin, Grigorenko. All potential first line players.

leafs_fan has a great team too though.

Best GM (besides me :)) Is either VanIslander or bossy22 both have great teams.
I'll go for Vanny's team.

Why don't we poll these and rate, best future, best chance now, etc? Polls usually bring up good discussions.

Teams like mine/bossys/vanislanders are better off for a playoff run because we have more 2-way/defensive forwards, while there are some teams with 4 scoring lines. Having some top defensive players who can also score is huge in the playoffs.

How about putting these in the polls, someone?

Best future...best chance at the cup this year should be the questions...make two polls and show the AHL rosters in one and the NHL in the other...

Well i believe if you're great in one area, offense for example or defense. You'll still be better off. Tampa was known for offense and not a lot of defense. But still...:)

Seriously, but with all the players we take...all the top players, its really hard to determine who will win because all of the players are so good!
