I thought there were a few intriguing Undrafted Free Agent guys out there, specifically a couple defenseman (which we could obviously use).

1) Lawrence Pilut - 22 year old defenseman in the SHL - currently leading his team in pts, and currently has the most pts for any defenseman in the SHL (36 pts in 45 games)

2) Alec Rauhauser - 22 year old defenseman playing NCAA hockey - currently leading all defenseman in points with 31 pts in 32 games played... good size at 6"3' and 216 lbs.

3) Daniel Brickley - 22 year old defenseman playing NCAA hockey - currently 2nd in points with 28 pts in 30 games played, and was a PPG last year. Also has good size and is 6'3".

4) Brinson Pasichnuk - 20 year old defenseman playing NCAA hockey - currently leading his team in pts

5.) Alexei Byvaltsev - 23 year old center playing in the KHL - leading U24 pt scorer in the KHL, 41 pts in 54 games played.

Pilut has some real skill in the offensive zone, seems like. Wonder what the rest of his game is like, though. Can he skate? The highlight package I watched was mostly limited to the O-zone.

I like the way Pilut jumps into the play. Very aggressive.
Late bloomer. Small D.
Could be a nice pickup

Not an MSU fan, but small, good IQ, talent.

Could make it if it all comes together, worth a risk IMO.

Don't mind a contract offer for any of those. Good list.
