Karlstad, Sweden

HV71 with Tampa prospects Stefan Liv and Simon Skoog won the 6th final in Sweden just a few minutes ago and tied the series til 3-3 and the final game will be played in Jönköping on sunday evening.

Stefan Liv who has had a great season set a new SEL record when he had his 4th shotout for the playoff. Liv had a down season last year but this year he has been great Tampa Bay GM Martin Sedin said from his cell phone in Sweden watching the game.

"We do believe that Stefan will be our new franchise goalie and we seriously conside to bring him over til next season Mr Sedin continued".

Simon Skoog the big defenceman hasnt got much icetime lately but Sedin is very happy with the progress that he has made in his first SEL season.

Other news from the Tampa prospects in Sweden

Tobias Enström
Won the Swedish J20 Championships with MODO just a few weeks ago. Another great season by Tobias.

Linus Videll
The big powerforward from Södertälje was an early pick by Tampa last summer but LInus has been a major disappointment so far. Linus hasnt got much icetime in the SEL as expected.

Pär Styf
Another good season from Styf who was also tested in the swedish national team during the season. Could be brought over this summer.

Ronnie Sundin
Old defenceman Ronnie turned down Tampas offer last summer, will he get a new one this summer? Been one of SELs best defenceman.

Johan Agu
Played for Almtuna in the 1st division(called Allsvenska) this season and scored some points. Will likely sign with a SEL team til next year and is still a few years away.

Kristofer Persson
A very big disappointed season for KP. Did great last year with MODO J20 but his coach in Björkläven this season hasnt believed in him and he was on the 4th line pretty much the entire season. Could be brought over to play minor league hockey.
