Be nice to see what he can do. He's got good size. Will he play wing or center a line?

Turgeon was second pick we did after Larkin at 2014 draft. It was also Tyler Wright's second pick as our scouting director and they even traded up some spots to get him.

I can't rememeber any other case we have traded up, than for Turgeon...

Turgeon didn't impress anyhow for years but this year he has been a totally different player. Can't wait to see him.

I was checking on Turgeon's career and discovered one of his sisters died some years ago. Very sad story, and makes me root for Dominic even more.

Yeah, a sad story. :(

Turgeon's older sister, Alexandra, played volleyball at the University of Denver, and his younger sister, Valerie, also plays hockey. His other sister, Elizabeth, Alexandra's twin, won a gold medal with the U.S. Women's Under-18 team in 2008 and was to play at the University of Minnesota before she passed away in a tragic car accident in 2010.

• He wears No. 23 in honor of his late sister: "She was very close to me. When we were younger, it was always me and her. She loved hockey and we had a bond over that. When I'm playing hockey, I feel that Liz is always with me."

What is interesting in Turgeon's AHL season, he has scored all his points except 1 at even strength. And with a pretty good rate.

If you crop the PP points away from others:

Puempel, 33 games, 11+8= 19 ES points (0.58 per game)
Elson 25 games, 8+6= 14 ES points (0.56 per game)
Turgeon, 40 games, 8+14= 22 ES points (0.55 per game)
------------------------------------------------------------
Campbell, 39 games 7+11= 18 ES points (0.46 per game)
Tangradi, 40 games, 10+8= 18 ES points (0.45 per game)
Bertuzzi, 16 games, 3+4=7 ES points (0.44 per game) he had another 7 points on PP...
Street, 38 games, 3+12= 15 ES points (0.39 per game)
Holmström, 37 games, 4+9=13 ES points (0.38 per game)
Lorito 33 games, 6+6=12 ES points (0.37 per game) he has 16 points on PP...
Ford, 38 games, 7+5 =12 ES points (0.32 per game)
Elkins 0.32
Svechnikov, 36 games, 3+6= 9 ES points (0.25 per game)
Shine 0.24

And to remind, he is 21-year-old like Larkin and those Puempel and Elson are 25 already.... If I'm right, only other 21-year olds scoring more at ES than Turgeon are 1st round guys Dylan Strome and Jack Roslovic.

Turgeon is also +8, second best in team after Hronek (+11) and highest number of forwards.

Team has been struggling, but Turgeon playing best hockey of his career.

Good for him. 4th line grinder potential in the NHL, taking over for a couple of our lower line grinders for a game or two should be good for him.

 i mean from watching the scene where he got hurt yesterday, i didn't read any news on him, i would have posted a link. I hope that his "lower body" is still working after that
 ah ok.

With Helm it pretty clearly looked like his knee. I wonder if it's a strain or something potentially season-ending.
