Dauphin and Capobianco both out injured today, Maggio and KEL draw in. Garland and Wood both healthy scratched.

Down 1-0 after one. Not much intensity, Bunting-Kempe-Sislo had a couple good shifts.

KEL has actually made strides in the games he gets, he couldn't eliminate a man to save his life to start the season, did a good job pinning Condors to the wall today.
Down 3-0 after 2, lines got shaken up with Kempe taking Pederson's spot with Crouse-Strome, didn't matter as we were short handed half the period.

Strome! Slid down centering the second line with Bunting-Sisle, Bunting slides it over to Strome streaking down the slot, 3-1 RR

Really bad t.o. by the condor D, but nice play by bunting and the conversion by Stroke.

3-2, good they added an assist to MacInnis as that was who I noticed.

Couldn't pull it out with the late PP in the final minute, RR lose 3-2.

Off to Miss Saigon for the early post game dinner.

I hope the RR clinch a playoffs spot relatively quickly so that Strome is called up again and sent back down just before the start of the playoffs.

Hill starts against San Antonio, Capobianco and Merkley still out, Garland scratched but Wood makes it back into the line-up in place of KEL.

Pederson from Dauphin! 1-0 RR

Dauphin centering the top line with Pederson and Crouse, Strome with Bunting and Kempe, MacInnis with McGinn and Sislo, Gaudet with Kujawinski and Looke.

Dauphin and Strome switch on PP, with Sislo playing point on Strome's top unit with Hanley. Wood plays point on the 2nd unit as the weak side shooter.

San Antonio tied it in the 2nd on a SH goal, 1-1, nothing in the 3rd, going to OT.
Dauphin off Sislo OT goal, RR win!

His even strength line with Bunting-Kempe didn't generate much, all perimeter with Kempe doing his human cannonball routine. On the top PP unit with Crouse-Pederson he set-up some looks for Pederson and Sislo but San Antonio is a really stingy team.
Dauphin looked great even strength with Crouse-Pederson, taking it hard to the net repeatedly. Set-up Pederson's ES goal then set-up the OT winner off Sislo crashing the crease. He had a nice spin-o-rama move on a break away which he ran out of real estate on. If the coyotes had any use for a 3rd line PK center that can fly, now would be a good time for an audition.

Dauphin made the Coyotes out of camp two years ago and did not look out of place. I was happy when he returned to the organization and I hope he can surprise next training camp. He is kind of the forgotten player right now and no one is really talking about him.
