RR's on the PP with 49 seconds remaining
edit: Time for a bit of OT.
Roadrunners will have a little over a minute of PP time to start.
Mermis second goal to tie...
I see Strome had 1SOG. What happened?
I know he was playing the whole time because he went to -3 on the OT winner by Texas.
Stars win 5-4 in OT on a freaky puck bounce off the glass.
Stars lead best of 7 series 2-1.
Strome is pointless in the second round.
Thought he had one in game 1? Did they change it?
Garland also took a high elbow near the end of regulation and didn’t return.
So, a mid elbow?
Garland should have bit his ankles for it.
I only saw the game Friday night in Tucson, but what I have seen of the RR against the Stars and followed in game reports makes me think they will not make it back to Tucson for Games 6 & 7.
Watching the Stars against the Roadrunners was like watching the Roadrunners against the Barracuda, but on the wrong end of that equation.
Roadrunners beat the Stars both regular season games in Texas.
Roadrunners road record is better than their home record.
What they’re going to have to do is dictate the pace. Listening to the radio stream last night it was obvious that when they play the aggressive “Tocchet” way the Stars had a lot of trouble handling them. They didn’t do that in the first period and got into the hole they were in.
^ I hope you are right, but I am still sticking to my analysis until I see/hear something that changes it.
So, just to get this all out of the way first:
Dylan Strome sucks.
Lawson Crouse sucks.
Mario Kempe sucks.
Adin Hill sucks.
Mike van Ryn sucks.
Kyle Wood making his AHL playoff debut tonight.
Kyle Wood sucks.
I think we’re done.
At least Strome had 6 SOG.
McKenna is going to steal this series from us.
Including a post.
It was a great run regardless. I’m not upset at all
Whoa, whoa...best of 7, let's not throw in the white towels quite so soon.
A hot goalie will do that to you.
