Speculation: Trouba playing

I used the sarcasm smiley... No way that he's 183 lbs now. He was measured at 6'2" 187 lbs a full year ago at the NHL scouting combine. Sounds like he's grown a bit since then.

My best guess is he will be 6'3" 200-205 by camp depending on the Jets priorities for his development. Size will never be an issue for Jacob.

Remember Wayne Simmons has been listed at 6'2" 175 and although he weighs more than that now he is still a bean poll (as witnessed on 24/7) yet he is a powerforward and plays a physical game. All weight is not created equal.....The average pitbull weighs about 50 pounds.....the average field lab weights more than 90 pounds.......I think you get my point.

Some debates are worthy....this one is a bit silly if anyone has watched him play. He is 19 years old and already 6'3" and probably 195 pounds which is big enough and he is still growing and maturing.

It's not the jets fans that have to worry about Jacob's size.....it's the other 29 NHL fan bases that have the problem and you can take that part to the bank.

I'd like to see Kulda too.

If I was a betting man, I'd wager we'll see Meech, but Kulda would be my first choice. I think Trouba isn't even being considered at this point. Maybe in a week or so, if he shows he's better than others after several practices. Even then, might be 50/50 chance.
