was this neccicery? It's spelled "kronor"
Of course it was not but a moderator came on the other thread uttering threats so I figured we better have a place to have what I felt was not an unreasonable discussion. I am not picking on Swedes only the fact I thought the punishment was too harsh for these guys and they may have had their Olympics unfairly taken from them.

well I also agree that it was too harsh, but what can you do about it :dunno:

Both Tallinder and Huseilus could have made the team.

Actually, I don't think anyone of them would have cracked team even had they not been suspended.

Perhaps, but a couple of more injuries and they could be in the mix.

then again Holmstrom and Nylander are our reserves forward vise.

Holmstrom is a master parking down low

I am of the opinion Holmstrom should be a fourth line/powerplay specialist. He really is exceptional around the opposing teams paint.

Nice lower body strength and above average hands, I guess, I dont think I have ever seen him score outside of the faceoff dot.

I doubt he ever has. The dot itself is pushing his limits. 90% of the time some part of him is in the blue paint. On his goals or PP goals scored by Detroit.

Hear that strange rumbling sound? That's the sound of every Finnish poster fighting the urge to hint that Mats Sundin and Peter Forsberg are... shall we say, "close"?

Sundin is the pitcher.

anyone wanna explain to a straight guy what you're all talking about?

Sure... when one comes by and asks, we'll let him know.
