Flames make second wave of roster moves
Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the following seven players have been assigned to their designated junior clubs.

Goaltender: Kevin Lalande – Belleville (OHL)

Defensemen: Gord Baldwin – Medicine Hat (WHL), Myles Rumsey – Swift Current (WHL), Matt Pelech – Belleville – (OHL)

Forwards: Daniel Ryder – Peterborough (OHL), Brett Sutter – Red Deer (WHL), J.D. Watt – Vancouver (WHL)

The Flames now have 51 players remaining in training camp: six goalies, 14 defenseman and 31 forwards.

Today, the B’s announced that Andrew Bodnarchuk (Halifax/QMJHL), Anton Hedman (Owen Sound/OHL), Milan Lucic (Vancouver/WHL), Brad Marchand (Val-d’Or/QMJHL), Levi Nelson (Swift Current/WHL) and Lukas Vantuch (Lethbridge/WHL) had been returned to their clubs at the conclusion of the camp and final rookie scrimmage.

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has reduced their roster to 40 players.

The following 13 players were assigned to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen: Chris Beckford-Tseu, Michal Birner, Zack Fitzgerald, Gino Guyer, Charles Linglet, Doug Lynch, Ryan MacMurchy, Greg Mauldin, Ryan Ramsay, Alexei Shkotov, Rocky Thompson, Patrick Wellar and Konstantin Zakharov.

The following four players were assigned to their junior teams: Ryan Clendenning (Acadie-Bathurst), Scott Jackson (Seattle), Jordan Kell (London) and Ryan Wilson (Toronto).

The Blues have released forward Casey Lee.
