the show isn't very funny beyond the novelty of the characters, which are sketch level. it's primarily the aesthetic that's garnered it popularity, especially in the states. the first 2 seasons have good moments, but none of it is writing-based, it's all based on the characters and the absurdity of their interactions bc of their peculiarities. it's a novelty.
