For those teams looking to add depth on their blueline, one of the following d-men is available...

Curtis Leschyshyn: While he retired in the NHL, it was after October 1st, so he is eligible for this season in the HFNHL. Very solid rating, including a 72 DF, 88 EX and 96 LD. He is expensive, but already cleared waivers last year in the waiver draft so he can start in the minors if required (at $185k per year). A perfect depth player for the season and the playoffs.

Thomas Pock: A former college standout acquitted himself quite well in NY Rangers training camp and pre-season, but was sent down to get more ice time. is expected back as a call up by the Rangers and is considered a very solid prospect. Best upside of the three obviously, but still has a decent enough rating to use in a pinch on your 3rd pairing when required. perfect for a team needing an immediate roster player, but looking long-term for upside.

Nolan Baumgartner: has finally cracked a NHL line-up as a regular with the Canucks and has 2 points in his first 3 games with the Nucks this season. Could easily see his rating go up to 70+ next season, and is a good depth player this year. Dirt cheap, so he is begging for a new contract or extension...

    Pock, 2 years $600,000

The Blues are looking for prospects or picks, but are open to other ideas as always...

Well - here goes folks - my firesale of defenceman as well -

I'm not looking for picks - or defenceman - but I would trade these guys for forwards with similar ratings or prospects who may have these types of ratings next season. I will also entertain offers for Goalies, and consider offers for some of those 1st round picks that OTT and NJD gave me.

    Jonathan Girard D R OK 65 68 49 68 85 88 69 62 62 66 61 44 44 68
    Brad Ference D R OK 85 65 73 52 84 62 61 54 54 71 52 53 53 70
    Zenith Komarniski D L OK 47 75 60 56 25 81 72 40 45 67 50 32 32 61
    Lawrence Nycholat D L OK 64 70 42 58 25 81 72 40 45 69 50 39 38 61
    Joe DiPenta D L OK 55 60 63 48 25 94 60 45 49 65 52 31 31 61

Or if that's not your thing: How about this!

A couple of 4th line RW'ers are avail too.

    Brad Chartrand RW L OK 69 69 49 46 70 88 69 48 53 68 58 47 46 63
    Scott Parker RW R OK 87 60 96 26 57 59 53 46 49 63 52 45 45 63
