Loov was injured if I am not mistaken. Leafs want a fully healthy Loov for training camp.

Campbell and Loov were injured for much of the playoffs, and looked good when they were in.

I think he becomes a RFA at the end of the year so Toronto has control. He was a reasonable good 2nd year pro two way defenseman. Better potential than Percy. I like the signing.
