criteria is that the player must be atleast under 25 if he has no nhl experience, or less than 2 full seasons of nhl experience.

Interesting thing is that top 5 of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft is playing in the tournament: E Johnson, Staal, Toews, Bäckström and Kessel.

But Slovenia plays in Division I. Next year they'll play in the WCH. Kopitar totally dominated their division though, but he had pretty good points in last WCH as well. When Finland beat Slovenia 5-3, Kopitar had 2+1 and looked amazing. All in all, he had 9 points in 6 games as a 19-year-old playing for freaking Slovenia.

Lasse Kukkonen is 25, so not under 25, but he still has only played one NHL season. I heard he's been Finland's best defenseman, any comments on his play?

and if we are speaking about players under 25 there must be Plekanec who is 24 :teach:
