I found the link. I guess it was a little more than a month ago. Bob McKenzie reported it. Here is the link: http://www.tsn.ca/columnists/bob_mckenzie.asp?id=152158
I wasn't discounting it. I was actually saying that I think he should be brought in. I didn't see you mention him in the opening post.

EDIT: I noticed your edit after my post. Paranoid me... :help:

That is going to be one STACKED Minnesota team :D

Erik Westrum, Kirby Law, Curtis Murphy, AJ Thelen, Danny Irmen, Roman Voloshenko, Patrick O'Sullivan, Matt Foy, Clayton Stoner, Ryan Stokes, Eric Reitz, Benoit Pouliot, Josh Harding...

Marc Staal is a possibility for the Rangers, hinted by John Davidson.

There was speculation last night on OLN on what the Rangers need and the consensus was a depth D man. Well Staal might be a good fit for that only he's not available right now. Depending on when Sudbury's season ends, seems to me he might be a good fit to play 5 or 6 mins a game. This would give the Rangers a nice look at him.

Depending on when London's season is over, I could see Schremp getting called up for a bit. At least to practice with the team. Maybe some 4th line + PP time in case of an injury.
