I'm looking to find the best young talent for defensive forwards(under 22ish). Possible future up and comming Selke candidates. Any help would be great, and what teams they are on, thanks to all who can help!

Petteri Nokelainen looks like he is going to be a very good two-way forward for the Islanders.

Yup. From what I've seen he reminds me a lot of a healthy Michael Peca.

zach parise is very very reliable in his own end, and he can add a lot of offense.

I don't know where's Higgins top end potential but he could really be a great player in that aspect of the game.

Wouldn't really call him a prospect anymore, but I agree.

I'm not sure if O'Marra is a sleeper as a defensive prospect. His game being so well rounded is the reason that he was considered the surest bet to be a solid NHL player in the draft after the obvious picks like Crosby and Johnson.

Whether he can be a contributing goal scorer on the NHL level is the question that kept him on the board until #15.
