What ever happened to Andy Andricopoulos? At one time he was considered a top defenseman.

Nice offensive D-man, reminds me a lot of Marc-Andre Bergeron with the Oilers. He has added some size in the past year and if he continues to do so, he will be a good NHL Q-Back on the PP. Any game I saw this year, this guy was great, on a bad team.

I don't watch enough college/european hockey to give 25, but my top 5 would be:

1. Jack Johnson
2. Marc Staal
3. Ryan Parent
4. Luc Bourdon
5. Matt Lashoff

Every list so far has omitted Joe Finley.

When all is said and done he should be amongst the top 25 D-men drafted.

Yeah, guys like him Heshmatpour, Grenier-Pokulok and Nick Tuzzolino will probably crack the top 25 heavily based on their gigantic stature.

Anyone have an opinion on this guy? :

Adam McQuaid, 10/12/1986, Sudbury, OHL, about 6'4'' and 190lbs
66GP - 3G - 16A - 19PTS - 98PIM - +31! By far best plus/minus on team. Maybe Marc Staal has stolen his thunder :dunno: ... maybe his stats are decieving.

McQuaid SHOULD be on the top DF lists and is on my underrated list right now. He's a good skater for a big man, very steady and reliable. He's even beginning to show some scoring potential these days. Early to mid 2nd round for me and one of the best 10 DF for this year's draft..

How about Lawson and Mintera of the USNT? Seen them both play and really like both.

Mitera isnt eligible until 06.

Lawson is pretty good, but not quite top 25 material.

I would rate Zach Jones as the 2nd best D-man from the NTDP for 05

Jones is going to be a steal in the draft! Not much offense but the kid can play solid D and is tough as nails.

Is he aggressive? That would really help his stock.

I heard someone say Paquet was third round material. Good offensive skills and that is it. I believe he is overaged and was passed over last year. Is that correct?

JP Paquet, from what I hear, should go in the 1st round. He's an '87 birthday so he wasn't passed over last year.

I've always been curious to see him play. I remember last year he was one of the '87s who spent most of the year with the U18 team which I was surprised by because he wasn't nearly as hyped as the others before the season. Then he won the top defenseman award for the U18 World Championships as an underager wwhich really surprised me. I wonder how much higher he'd be thought of if he was over 6 feet tall.
