Going Ellis here. I think some form of Ellis, Johansen, Walker should round out the final 3 spots.

Im still going old, and I still think Dunham was the reason we weren't an unwatchable horrid expansion team our first few years. Johansen will eventually be top 10 and probably top 5, but right now he hasn't even been here for two years

Ellis, Joey hasn't been here that long.
Kind of an overrated thing in my opinion.

I've said this off and on throughout this series of polls, but there's kind of a blurred distinction between the term "best Predator" and "whose time here was best", along with emphasis on how long someone has been/was here.

Was Legwand, for example, the "best" Predator of all time? No, not by definition, but the lengthy time he had here and the numbers he accumulated compared to everyone else are worthy of thinking he was. I still think the truth of the matter is our higher end guys right now are "better" than someone like Walker or Legwand or Erat. I'm not bashing those guys, I'm just saying as our franchise has evolved, we've had better players come through and be part of the fold, regardless of how long they've been here. Guys like Forsberg, Johansen, Ellis, Josi, Subban, Neal, Ekholm, and Arvidsson (probably) are among the "best Predators" of all time, regardless of term here IMO.

No opinion is wrong, and I understand the nostalgia and longevity factor, but the talent we've amassed as a whole over the last few years is much better than it ever was in comparison to the rest of the league. Which, therefore in my mind, leads me to believe that these recent teams have had a lot of the so-called best Predators ever.

I think alot of these votes in this exercise are sentimental over greatest player.

you're correct but I'd also point out its not a poll of the "best players ever to be Preds" or as someone said Peter Forsberg would be #1, easily.

Top 20 All-Time Predators can be broadly interpreted to include off ice factors like the impact of the Kariya signing over and above what he did here in his two years

I personally think best when I see “Top X all time”
