I will lead with the points as I think you originally asked

10 Rasmussen
9 Cholowski
8 Hronek
7 Svechnikov
6 Saarijarvi
5 Pearson
4 Lindstrom
3 Turgeon
2 Smith
1 Holway

The bottom five have the chance to change pretty much monthly for me. I am pretty high on Pearson though, he is a very smart player with a lot of gifts that intrigues me a ton. He looks like a NHL guy whenever I see him. When you look at the difference in terms of polls, my vote after Saarijarvi will probably reflect the guys we are actually voting on at that point. Seeing as it is tough to get him or Turgeon as an add I differ from people there.

Holmstrom and Hicketts remain out of the top 10 for me because I still struggle to see how either guy is going to translate in the NHL day to day.

I think Holway has a chance to be a big mover here in the next couple of months, I have no problem seeing him higher up lists than where I have him currently he is absolutely trending that way.

Was about to be done with Smith then I noticed he had 3 goals in 4 games since he was traded. So I stuck with him.

My mind changes every day with the top3... they are equal, in their own group.

Based on career potential:

9 - Cholowski
9 - Rasmussen
9 - Hronek

7 - Svechnikov

After this it's really tough. Like to rise those college guys up, like Pearson, Pope and Holway. I liked Person's playmaking a lot on videos from former training camps.

6 - Pearson
5 - Holway
4 - Pope

No one knows nothing about them until they'll joining the organization, and guys could be surprisingly ready.

Last three?

I'll go with RhD and a crapshoot goalie.

3 - Lindström
2 - Saarijärvi
1 - Petruzzelli

Ask this tomorrow and I could have a different list. :P

I deliberately excluded goalies and like most my bottom 5 is fairly interchangeable.

I was pumped about Smith because he seemed to play a heavy physical game with decent hands around the net. Not sure if he's shown much progress and it's a bit worrisome. However I think he's in the conversation for top 10 still. Maybe he's 12 when I actually start listing name's in my head, but I think he has a better chance of making the club than some others (D/G).

Regular Method vs Alternative Method
1. Hronek vs Hronek
2. Rasmusen vs Rasmussen
3. Cholowski vs Cholowski
4. Svechnikov vs Svechnikov
5. Saarijarvi vs Sarijarvi
6. Hicketts vs Pearson
7. Lindstrom vs Lindstrom
8. Turgeon vs Turgeon
9. Sambrook (estimate) vs Holway
10. TBD vs Sulak

The big difference here is Hicketts is high on one and low on another.
Pearson, on the other hand, is relative high on the alternative method and so far hasn't been a threat on the regular method.
Holway and Sulak also outperformed the regular method, it appears.

I like how quick the alternative method is, but perhaps the conversation that surrounds each vote makes the polls worth it. I don't know which would be a more accurate description of our opinions. My list is more similar to the regular way, but that doesn't mean it's better haha.

I can't speak for anyone else but I simply overlooked hicketts when doing my top 10. Probably put him 6th or 7th and bump everyone else down.

I am hopeful the Maine guys turn pro this year. It would be nice if they could get some games in with the Griffins and I think they are ready. That would likely have them go up the board for a lot of people if you did get to see more of them. Holway in particular is a pretty good skater, he was a project player that has basically knocked his development out of the park.

He has gained 30 lbs, is considerably faster so that was good muscle gain like Cholowski. He was a stay at home d-man project that all of a sudden has offensive upside. But that is a late bloomer development which does make me like him. But he is still discovering his game but man his development year over year is probably among the best in our entire system if not the best.

I think Pearson has a lot of offense in him. I am actually higher on him having seen his playmaking ability this year. He is very unlucky not to be among the biggest scorers in D1. He just couldn't buy a goal, but I think he has enough finish. Another guy who I like his skating which has become more and more important in the NHL by the day. Both guys I think have made big arguments to move up our board, hopefully they can wrap that up with strong springs.

Parayko 6'5", 214 lbs

21 year old NCAA season
