Well I have been lucky enough to see many of the the 2004 draft class play. Heres my top guys.

1. Alexander Ovechkin F 6-2/200 Moscow
2. Evgen Malkin 6-3/205 N/A
3. Rostislav Olesz F 6-2/205
4. Cam Barker
5. Robbie Schremp
6. Mike Green
7. Devan Dubynk
8. Mike Card
9. I never seen him play except for a highlight real... So really I saw three plays of his..but going by scouting reports ect. A kid from the States with his last name starting with a P...It's a crazy last name. But Darn he sounds promising. I'm sure he could be in the top 5 if I saw him play.

I also think Robbie Schremp is overated :)

I think Schwarz will come out as the number 1 goalie though I really really like Devan Dubnyk, and it really will come down to who the team likes or scouted more 9 could be either Schwarz or Dubnyk IMO.

Dubnyk

He's right now on teh top of all scouts lists so if he keeps playing the way he has he's gonna stay up there.

It can be difficult to predict where a goalie will go in the draft but I think the consensus is that if Montoya meets the expectations this year he will be an easy first round pick. Here are the numbers from last year, where he played as a 17 year old freshman most of the year (A February birthdate).

Season GP W L T Win% SH GAA SV%
2002-2003 43 30 10 3 .733 4 2.33 .911

Geoff Paukovich? He's on the U.S. National Team Development Program.
