Once upon a time, Dan Carcillo was pencilled in to play on the top line. He got injured in the first game of the season, and some kid named Saad slotted in for him.

Wingels was signed to play bottom six minutes. I think he's very capable of doing so.

I think he could be if he bounces back a bit closer to the level he was playing at in SJS.

But I also think it's more than possible that a kid can play those same bottom 6 minutes, and potentially do so with a higher skill ceiling.

I don't know. We'd have to wait for real camp to see the potentials.

I'd simply say that whatever Hino is, he's either plateauing or improving. That's where he is in his career. Wingels is only declining, and has been for years. He may have a bounce back. I hope he does. But he's been pretty crap for a few years.
