The buzz amoung scouts at the WJHC is that Toews is shining. He's a very effective and pretty dangerous player as a 17 year old in Brent Sutter's system. He is not losing any stock at this tournament.

But some random HF boards poster from the southern US with a personal agenda thinks he sucks.

Bob McKenzie seemed to think the same thing before the Sweden-Finland game yesterday. Said that while Kessel's stock hasn't fallen, it hasn't risen either with his lack of goal scoring. Meanwhile, Toews' play has increased his value in the eyes of some.

I fail to see the need for this thread to remain open. Note to everyone, re-read the rules on thread creation and what cuts it here. If it's a legitimate analysis of a players performance, its all good. If you want to flame a player or a poster, don't even bother.
