Boeser > Tkachuk

McDavid >> Matthews

Marner << Laine

This is easily 2015.

Yes and no. 2015 has McDavid but 2016 is much more difficult to play against, and should be better defensively.
I'd almost want to say they make a better playoff line.

Voted 2016 because I think it’s a more balanced/effective line.

Production wise, I think 2015 is better.

2015 wouldn't have to worry about defense. The best offense is a good defense.

They both would be +ppg lines, McDavid is the best player of the group, Laine the best goal scorer.

And yes you need to know how to play defense in the playoffs, tougher line with better defense makes a better playoff line most likely.

Boeser-McDavid-Marner AINEC. Matthews isn't on the same level as McDavid. Boeser>Tkachuk and the difference between Laine and Marner isn't enough to sway the vote at all.

If you want me to get into specifics, in addition to ridiculous goal scoring ability, I feel the Matthews line would be better defensively, it has significantly more size, and Tkachuk would give it a physical edge and agitating qualities.

Basically, I feel it’s the kind of stuff that could be the bane of the hypothetical McDavid line.
