Hi, i did not a thread about this (sorry if it exists already)

I am looking at tickets to the Montreal - Toronto game on the 17th of march. Where is the best place to look?

I browsed trough stubhub and those prices looked pretty high to me.

If you go on Ticketmaster.ca and see the seating chart for that specific game, any seats with a blue circle are available and it would be at face value. If you see a red circle that means the seats are being sold at re-sale by the person who originally owns them, so they can charge whatever amount they want. So in effect that's just like purchasing tickets from StubHub.

I bought tickets to the Leafs-Isles game last week. I bought the tickets the day before and managed to get row 6 in the 300s for $100 a ticket. You can buy game day but that might be a bit more risky for Leafs-Habs but regardless if you buy them online and check frequently leading up to 12-48 hrs before game time you should be able to snag a pair for cheaper.

Ok thanks for the help. So the bit under 200$ are normal price seemingly then. I guess as a student it will be hard to pay that, gotta look into Sabres game on the same day.

I also noticed on Ticketmaster the cost is also different depending on the team the Leafs are playing. For example against Dallas on March 14th seats in the Golds or Reds were going for $175. However against Montreal on March 17th the same seats are $250.

I guess 100$ would be the maximum i can justify paying myself. But ofcourse it is smart from TML to keep prices like these when the demand is so high. Thanks for all the inputs here, i will look for few days now and then decide if i can come to see Toronto match or make the trip to see Buffalo.

Yup.

I know that for a non-premium week game you can get tickets easily for $80-110 for a pair in a decent spot. A premium Saturday game is probably going to add another $100 unless you get lucky.

I would suggest Ticketmaster over Stubhub since the currency listed is already Canadian and the fees are close to $15-20 a ticket and also guaranteed tickets instead of a guaranteed money back. Not sure the fees on Stubhub.

Prices are different for every row and game.
I know the guy in front of me pays an extra dollar or two a ticket.
My seats are stamped
Montreal $117
Pittsburgh $107
Winnipeg $92
all Saturday nights.

Buffalo Monday 26th $77.

So home come in the example I used Ticketmaster had both limited seats in the Golds and Reds for the exact same price?

Are they resale prices?
I have my Pens tickets on Stubhub for $200 US and Winnipeg for $175 US right now.

Well if someone has cheap tickets to that match, send me a message. I am not really looking for any special sector, just want to enjoy my first nhl game in Canada.

Those prices I mentioned was face value because they had a blue circle when I clicked on the ticket.

The re-sale tickets on Ticketmaster have a red circle.
Not sure. I can only speak to the price of my seats.

If you are downtown in the Financial District use Kijiji and do meet ups for hard tickets.

You will pay a premium for Saturday night games and premier opponents. That multiplies for a premium Saturday night like Pittsburgh on March 10

You still need to be care full with a site like Kijiji. Last season during the playoffs a Leafs fan bought tickets from someone using their site for $800 and the tickets were never transferred to him.

'Thoroughly disappointed': Leafs fan out $800 in apparent playoff ticket scam

Weekday games against the Jackets or Isles are your only hopes if you don't want to pay $200 per seat at the 300 level.
