This does raise an interesting point that I was thinking about earlier today. The series of polls surrounding this topic on the polls board on top of this thread have lead me to think about where Atlanta really should be in the org. rankings.. At first I thought 6th is probably too high, but when you look at it as if it were a trade proposal, ie. Atlantas entire prospect pool for [insert team here]'s entire prospect pool, theres not many teams I'd want to swap with at all.
Our prospects 'combine' well with our weaknesses in our big league team too. We have strengths in goal and defense in the system, which currently would be considered the weakness for the Thrashers. Don't know if this really has anything to do with it, but it would mean I'd be less willing to trade them all for other teams, more offense-heavy, prospect pools I guess.
