He has returned.

He's a heavy weight in being one of the heavier players in the league, but doesn't exactly win fits (not that there has been any correlation to winning fights and any on ice result like momentum in shots or goals but meh )

Very game....rarely wins but also doesn't get blown out very often. popular teammate that steps up when challenged and does his job.

I think he will be in the NHL next year.
Unfortunately borderline grinders seem to get NHL contracts while borderline skilled players end up in Europe.
