For a brief period of time, I recall that Iginla was being legitimately considered as the top players in the NHL, between Jagr and Crosby's eras. Sure, it never really came to be but he is absolutely one of the top stars of his era.

So, no, not yet, not for a while.

So, no, not yet, not for a while.

He was, definitely. He was fully deserving of the 2002 Hart Trophy that he would have won if a French-Canadian journalist hadn't thrown the voting. The players got it right voting him as the LBP Trophy winner that year.

I love that he wasn't a first overall pick, as well.
