Things said here may not fly on other team boards or even neutral boards. Similarly, some topics or comments that might be OK on neutral boards may be unwanted on a team board. If a visiting fan truly does come in peace and follows the site and local rules then there is likely no problem. But be advised that this is Caps fan home ice and rival fans stopping by making questionable posts probably won't get the benefit of the doubt (meaning high possibility of infractions, threadbans, forum bans, etc).

Who the f*** would be a fan of such a 3rd rate team like the Caps? Honestly the worst team in all of pro sports, and don't even get me started on their business model. I've seen better run businesses from homeless ppl.

Anyone who honestly wants to claim caps fandom can catch these hands, as you're obviously a broke idiot.

It's also for terrible memes that aren't really a thing. So I guess this thread is perfect for this blackhole of intelligence that is "The Lounge".
If one "forces" a meme hard enough and often enough, repeatedly forcing over and over again, a meme with determination and tenacity and voraciousness, tenaciously using determined repetition with great voracity, does the meme eventually become an actual "thing?"

Or nah?

@G F O P

You made the OP at 6 a.m. in the morning and we have all been wondering, was this the result of an all-nighter or did you set your alarm clock to go off so that you can get a jump on ****posting first thing in the morning when normal people are relaxingly awakening to a beautiful Saturday of leisure?

Upon further review it looks to appear as though @G F O P had set his alarm for McDonalds, made this incredible thread on the way and now has passed-out from too many McGriddleses.

This is a great forum for Caps fans since it is an appropriate forum to discuss drinking. I'm sure there is plenty of booze being consumed by Caps fans after that game 1.

Regardless of registration date or post count, ALL users are subject to the same rules and standards (the obvious exception being mod duties such as editing posts, issuing warnings in threads, keeping conversations on topic, etc). A bit of banter is to be expected due to familiarity and years of debate. Since we know the positions others have held we may sometimes bring them up as part of ongoing discussions. But posts cross the line from banter/debate to violations when the perceived intent violates site rules regarding Flaming or Trolling, as judged by the moderating staff. As a rule of thumb, before you hit “Submit Reply”, think about whether what you're saying is really necessary, and if it can be perceived as a rules violation...particularly late at night after a tough game, a few beverages, or a bad day.

why are the blackhawks so bad @iGetThatBread
