Don't be too surprised if Kessel is still there when the Isles pick. This reminds me of what happened to Samsonov. He also started out as a clear #1 overall but then dropped on draft day.

Rangers will trade Montoya to Florida for their #1 and draft Staal.

Why would the Panthers want Montoya when they have Luongo? Montoya's upside is as a starter, and he's not going to be happy sitting the bench behind Luongo for too long.

Now, if Lungo departs as a free agent, then that's a much better deal. But that won't be known until after the draft.
