Lind hits the post, then seconds later nets hit 3rd power play goal of the game anyway.

Not the best angle

WJC isn't the be all end all for prospects, so don't really care. Just want to see Lind put up an insanely productive season, be "the guy" for his team and lead them deep in a playoff run.

Good response to being cut. Shows some character having big game.

Team Canada is going to regret cutting both Linda and Glass....they seemed to have some special chemistry together and before the tourney is over they'll miss that offense.

I can't remember the last time Team Canada cut so many high picks. The Top 5 picks from the 2016 draft all played for Canada last year so this is rather bizarre to see so many quality players cut. I don't think you should take players simply based off draft position (I don't think Tippett or Rasmussen deserved to make the team) but guys like Glass and Suzuki were highly thought of at the draft for a reason and are easily two of the better U20 forwards in the CHL.

I mean, people saying that "Lind should be in the WJC!!!" (I got that a lot on twitter) don't really realize that even in todays game 5 on 5 Lind's line was struggling to get anything going. In a 7-2 game, a line with a top scorer had trouble generating quality shots at even strength. I can kind of understand not taking Lind, the top 6 is set and you'd basically use Lind as a power play specialist.

There's lots of comparisons to Glass but I honestly think that the difference is Glass is a very strong 5 on 5 producer.

Lind produced very well at even strength last year. His even strength production wasn't much different from Glass.

He doubled his PP goal production in one game so it's not like he's living off the PP.

Hmmm... Interesting, maybe my take on his game is off then. I've only watched him play 5 games so far, twice against Glass. So I can't really say I have a good read on him.

Hmm I thought Holm was out forever

You never know around here. Everything is kept so secret. It has never been established exactly what his problem was. He was hit head on with his head down snapping hus head back in vicious whiplash fashion and then went down straight backwards striking the back of his head violently on the ice. Heas helped to the bench and sat there in a crouch. Megna, sitting next to him, tried talking to him and got little response. the trainer was inn the dressing room with Subban hurt earlier. He came back out and Megna could be seen telling the trainer something very strongly. The next whistle he was guided to the locker room.

The announcement to the press was upper body injury.

He then didn't practice for days. Then he was skating , but not with the team. Then, Bingo! He's in a game. You tell me.

Lind, Gadjovich, Dahlen and maybe even Juolevi will likely all be in Utica next season.....Gaudette and Pettersson are 'possibles" but most likely they'll get a long look in VanCity. Comets will probably have to find a replacement for Demko though.
