Yeah the it factor hasn't been there for us lately. Long year yet. Mason is going to get some more starts coming up soon which is alright. We rode Helly while he was hot. Now he's cooled off so back to 50/50 and focusing on team defense more.

Home ice should be our goal and there's still 2/3 of the marathon left

Mase makes a Case!

To not let Haste and Hate get to much into your Face!

If you don't believe in your own Winnipeg Jets!

Its a sad Waste of Faith!

Mase had a very good game tonight our first against the Blues and even though we lost there is a lot of hope this season and for the future of our Winnipeg Jets.

[mod]

I believe that our Winnipeg Jets are on the up slope of great things to come sooner then many of you may believe.

Yes we have taken a step back this season but as long as our players and coaches learn from it right now so we all can be a much better prepared team as a whole entire unit when the playoffs do start, so well be it.

Don't believe me, well then I shall make a partial case for you.

TNSE were way beyond patient building our Winnipeg Jets Team from the draft and develop.

Look where we are and do not think that Vancouver, Ottawa or even Edmonton wished they could have TNSE as the owners of their teams.

We Winnipeg Jets fans believe it or not are the luckiest NHL Fan base in the whole NHL.

My God our team in the not too distant past just a few short years ago stopped to even exist...

A lot of us here have a lot of optimism for the short and long term vision of where our beloved Team The Winnipeg Jets will be...

Mark my words that the majority of the NHL will wish one day sooner then later even if what the majority of nay Sayers say here that our own Winnipeg Jets Team was actually theirs.

We are on the cups of something magical and magnificent as well as never ever before seen.

If you cant feel or sense that well I sure hope that after you read this that you may now allow yourself the chance to even just get a slight glimpse of the great future that will unfold for our Winnipeg Jets...

I mean come on people we wished and prayed for our team to re-exist and we all succeeded in that dream endeavor and that was the hardest part Winnipeg Jet fans...

What we are going through right now is easy peasy...

Being the Winnipeg Jets Fan base, being born in Winnipeg, having lived or learned the history of our Winning ways back in the WHL for don't you ever forget we are winners of Hockey, We Love Great Hockey, We are Patient past faulty but most of all We would rather sacrifice everything to build a dream Team that surpasses all of our wants and visions of great hockey that we have all day dreamed about...

We are The Winnipeg Jets, we are not building a hockey team just to be a contender for just a few short years while trading away our future Stanley Cups...

We are building a hockey team that will go down in the near future as the best there ever was in the entire hockey universe.

Why?

We were all able to bring our team back from no longer existing... just with our hopes, dreams and prayers...

We are what we think, what we feel in our hearts and souls!

Holding on to the good in our lives is the best hope of each and everyone of one us to have a well lived, successful and happy life...

Please do throw away all your negativity and hatred towards our Winnipeg Jets for we did get our team back and they do exist, so please stop being a doom and gloom downer and please start being a believer... please stop holding back your enthusiasm for if you do think and believe the worst of our team... well we become what we believe don't we and we are cutting short the dynasty that awaits us all if only we all could believe in each other, in our players, in our coaching staff, in our owners but most all it starts with us the Fans... for without us... their is no Winnipeg Jets... the dream team we wish for can be found within each and everyone of us and that is of course shall be found in our own heart and souls.

Remember this if you may still have your doubts...

Our Ace in the hole... His nickname is Chevy and I do believe in him as well!

Forever a Winnipeg Jets fan...

I believe...

Lowry and JoMo are defensive wizards. I love watching them play in their own ends.

Copp and Tanev have also been playing very clean hockey.

Fun hockey team to watch.

More CLT positivity...

High Danger Corsi For 5v5 (%): 75.44

Based on current rates (5v5): Projected over 82 games... 23 goals for, 6.5 goals against.

Think about that... that line is on pace for allowing <7 even-strength goals against in the entire season.

Also, the Jets are looking better and better in terms of shot distribution... Jets are now #5 in the NHL in High Danger CF% (according to Natural Stat Trick data). That figure is illustrated by the shot heat maps below (from Hockyviz).

So, the Jets are improving in raw Corsi, but they are doing even better at taking and preventing high danger shots.

I'm gonna take a big, fat, long, nasty positivity dump.

First,

Chef and Wheels are doing some pretty great offensive things.

KC has been outstanding as a 1st year pro. His game has come a million miles from last year.

Laine and Ehlers are scoring goals like it's the 80's despite not doing it much 5vs5 (yet)

Little is rounding into form and quietly contributing.

Lowry is a motherf***ing monster and Copp and Tanev have been good at what their asked to do.... Like really really good.

MP is a point per game 4th liner. Might be the first in NHL history.

Armia looks noticible in a good way most nights.

Hendricks is glueing the shit out of these guys.

Matthias and Dano are actual serviceable NHLers... Sitting in the PB. That's rare.

JoMo is the best. Just the best.

Buff and Toby have been a quietly good pairing.

Kulikov has been good value and even better when you think he has to carry Myers around in the Dzone.

Myers scores lots.

Poolman has looked good. Benny does his best.

Goaltending. Excellent early and good more often than not lately.

PP is dangerous.

Crazy thing is the Moose are stocked to the tits with Forwards who will want a job and so is the prospect pipeline.

D depth is starting to look more promising by the day.

Just think by Chevy locking up PoMo last off season to a multi year it's gonna save Chipper some money long term....;)

Somewhere nice
LOWRY and Copp and Tanev

will be the unsung hero in (if) the playoffs.

The big guns will score.

But the Perrault 4th line and Lowry third line will put this over the top.

I believe when the game matter most in the playoffs and Jets need a goal, he will rely on Laine to get it done with Ehlers.

I believe Scheifele will not score as much in the playoff as he will be burden to outdo the other 1C of the other team, limit their scoring. This is when Little is needed to get that burden of Schiefele.

I think Buff will be the best shut down D in the playoff leaving Morrissey and Myers to do the offensive work.

KC was a completely different player last night. The biggest flaw in his game (imo) had been his tentativeness, which comes with being a rookie, of course. I don't know what got into him last night, but we saw a free wheeling, creative Kyle Connor. I like where this is going.
