Sunday's game against the sens is massive, a must lose for the tank. Good thing is we can count on Pageau to have a career game vs the habs as usual.

This weekend can be amazing if Habs lose both games and Sens win both. They now sit 5 points behind with 2 games in hand. They could be 1 point behind with still 2 games in hand after the weekend.

It really says something about the Sens that they are 5 points behind the Habs considering they were well ahead of us in a playoff spot at one point and added Duchene to "go for it"

What is even more telling is 4 of those are in the Atlantic.

Montreal, Ottawa, Detroit, Florida, Buffalo. Five of eight.

The funny part? Montreal has the third best record against the Atlantic with 9-6-2. Boston has been eating the Atlantic alive at 10-1-2 while Tampa is 9-3-1. Which means that the Habs would be even worse if they played in a better division.

Oh, I had an old man moment... you are correct, 5 teams. And yeah, imagine if we were in the Central?

I don't see how the Habs can lose the the ducks, then lose to the sens. That would be huge, but I don't see it.

Here's an idea , the NHL should create an all Canadian Division, this way we will be sure to have at least 3 Canadian teams making the playofffs every years.

Here's a better idea: Canadian teams can stop hiring idiots to run their clubs. You put all the Canadian teams in one division, you just make whatever opposite division they play have easy targets. And if the Canadian teams get good, not all of them can make it when in the current system they can.

What Canada needs is a reminder that NHL hockey isn't international hockey. You're not representing a country but a company. Build the best company.

Yet Julien's playing Niemi against Anaheim and Price against the Sens...
