I've been really torn for the last couple of weeks about my future. I mean where I want to work. I decided during the summer that I'll leave the university after my contract ends in December, and told it openly if someone asked. I was twice offered a position at the administration which I declined (because I really don't want to go there), but researcher position has started to feel attractive again.

And now there interesting position open in industry at another city. I guess I'll apply but still... I could wait for a couple of month to see if there's a post doc for me, but if there's not I'm out of job and that's not good

Yeah, there is a whole process involved. There are two deadlines for people graduating this spring - November 1 and March 1. November is for those who are labelled as finishing in Fall 2016, and March 1 for people finishing in Spring 2017.
