watching his interviews (even with DEB), he's been looking and sound WAYYY more comfortable. even compared to two months ago. I really like it

The “two playoff runs” argument could easily be flipped as negotiation leverage for NYR, no? “You want two shots at the Cup with McD? Well, pay up”

Same could be said for Karlsson staying put.

I just don’t think Gorton played this like he held all the cards... which he did.

the best thing for the rangers would be to have kept mcd and hope the bolts didn't win the cup this year. it would've made them more desperate to get mcd at the draft. sure they got 2 super late firsts (if they win the cup) and from what everyone is saying is 2 so/so prospects? meanwhile we got taylor hall for larrson.

also all the picks in the world wont do them any good if they dont draft well then develop well. the picks they received this year probably wont crack their lineup for at the least 2 years. them free falling in the standings is what you have to worry about. if they did win the lotto and got dahlin

that alone is worth the price paid to get those 2 guys in there. hopefully cory plays like he did last year and the defense can limit their blunders. we'll see
